The Irrigation Department’s PIU focuses on improving irrigation services and infrastructures within the Merged Districts. Currently, the PIU has completed essential groundwork, including the on-boarding of a consultant for master planning and detailed design. Civil works will commence in due course, following the completion of these initial assessments, and proactive management of the planning process is vital for future success.
