The Agriculture Department’s PIU works on enhancing agricultural productivity through the creation of service providers, rainwater harvesting systems, and the promotion of climate-smart agriculture technologies among other key initiatives. Currently, significant progress has been made in implementing initiatives like walk-in tunnels for off-season vegetables, while capacity-building efforts for staff and farmers are underway.
